The dimensions of the play area are crucial to a successful playground project. You don’t want to purchase a structure that’s too big, or too small for the area, nor will you be happy with a structure that is not right for your kids.
Usually, measuring for the playground is a fairly easy task.
1. Draw a simple diagram of the area on a sheet of paper.
2. With a tape measure or measuring wheel, measure the length and width of the area. If it’s not square, simply take several (3) measurements of the length and several of the width at various places.
3. Note any obstructions, trees, fences, wires, underground utilities, etc. Don’t forget height considerations, if there are any.
4. Share this information with your KidstructionTM sales representative.
